Haitianstudents.com is a site that gives students an opportunity to connect, share, and interact.  We strive to inform, educate, and entertain our members on various subjects that affect students of Haitian descent. We do so by highlighting some of the different aspects of Haitian culture such as historical, traditions, and music.

It is important that we keep our culture alive, and remember the legacy of Haiti as a nation; the legacy that still lives within us. Haitian Students are the future of Haiti and its greatest hope.

Haiti is known as an enduring and valiant nation. Robbed of all its value and wealth and deserted in isolation, its sprite for life could not be broken. Constantly plagued with political injustices and government greed, its people are still able to find the diamonds that lie beneath a mound of broken promises and lies.

When we look at Haiti we see what it can be, what it should, and what we can make of it. It is time that we stop looking back; we need to start moving forward. We must act upon that famous Haitian proverb “men anpil chay pa lou” which translates into many hands make the load lighter.
